LANA GILCHRIST Dentist - GDC number 71523
I trained at the University of Sydney, Australia, and graduated in 1991, moving to the UK in 1997. I have worked mainly in private practice and took over Cornhill Dental Centre in 2003. I hoped to realise my dream of a high quality practice, that put the needs of my patients first and provided them with comfortable and innovative treatment. I pride myself on the fact that my team and I are constantly keeping up to date, honing our skills and utilising new technologies and techniques. When at home, I love walking in the countryside, curling up with a good book and am still trying to overcome my reputation as the world’s worst gardener. |

TANYA DOBBIN Dental Nurse - GDC number 189168
Since joining Cornhill Dental Centre at the beginning of 2008 I have followed the Dental Nurse training programme and have succeeded in passing my NVQ becoming a fully qualified dental nurse. I now have a keen interest in Oral Health Education for patients which has lead me to take a course in the application of fluoride for patients. My aim is to help patients with my new knowledge and educate them at the same time in clinic times run at the practice. I am very excited by the opportunity to do this and look forward to learning more as time goes on. I am enjoying the challenge, the skills that I am developing and it’s exciting being part of such a dynamic team. I am a keen cyclist and bike to work and home every day as well as running in my spare time. |
